How to use

Add 1/2 – 1 teaspoon to a bowl or mug. Add 100ml cooled, cold or iced water, whisk vigorously until frothy. For a creamy latte: Replace some or all of the water with almond or coconut milk. Add a touch of organic cacao powder for a slightly sweeter drink ( a must try for coffee lovers) Try adding to desserts, smoothies and yogurts.

Our Organic Matcha Powder is a ceremonial grade matcha, representing the highest quality green tea powder. It is produced using only the youngest tea leaves, with stems and veins carefully removed to create a delicate flavour and an exceptionally fine texture.

This matcha is grown exclusively in Kyoto, Japan, a region with a long-standing history in Japanese tea culture. For centuries, Kyoto has been central to traditional tea ceremonies, with cultivation methods passed down through generations.

The tea plants are grown in fertile soil near local river sources and cultivated using traditional techniques. Only the first, most tender leaves from the spring harvest are selected. Before harvesting, the plants are shade-grown to limit direct sunlight, a method used to deepen colour and refine flavour.

After harvesting, the leaves are carefully processed and stone-milled into a fine powder, resulting in a vibrant green matcha with a smooth, mellow profile and a subtle, refined aroma.
